Speak Softly

Speaking Softly: Submitted by Anonymous

When my second graders begin to get rowdy I slowly lower my voice. I make a point of continuing to teach, getting more and more animated so that my students will want to know what I am saying. As they begin to quiet down, I level my voice off so that more and more students will be able to hear me, until before long the whole class is quiet.
